Welcome to Kalivo, where we believe that pet accessories should be as beautiful as the homes they live in.
Our Story Kalivo was founded by Stephanie Cherie Martinez in Lynnwood, Washington, with a simple mission: to elevate the everyday moments we share with our pets.
As a devoted pet owner and design enthusiast, Stephanie noticed a gap in the market. Most pet bowls were either purely functional plastic or overly patterned designs that didn't fit a modern aesthetic. She wanted something different—a bowl that offered the weight and hygiene of high-quality tableware, with a look that complemented a minimalist interior.
And so, our signature collection of minimalist ceramic pet bowls was born.
Why Ceramic? We chose high-fired ceramic for specific reasons. Beyond its sleek, matte finish and substantial weight (which helps prevent sliding and tipping!), ceramic is one of the most hygienic choices for your pet. It is non-porous, easy to clean, and helps prevent bacteria buildup better than plastic, ensuring your pet’s meal is always safe and fresh.
From the USA to New Zealand Although our studio and warehouse are nestled in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, our hearts are with the pet-loving community in New Zealand. We admire the Kiwi lifestyle and the deep bond you share with your animals.
We are proud to serve the New Zealand market exclusively, bringing our carefully curated designs from our US facility directly to your doorstep. We handle all logistics to ensure that despite the distance, your experience is seamless and reliable.
